I have already published two books (Mission Sitting Bull, Schöningh Paderborn 2016; Unter dem Nordlicht, Galiani Berlin 2020) on indigenous peoples in North America. I was also co-initiator, composer and musician of the production "Songs of the Land", in which poems by Cree Chief Mike Metatawabin from Canada were set to music. The production was performed several times at the Theater Chur in 2021. I have realized several exhibitions, such as at the Historical Museum in Lucerne or in the Dolder House in Beromünster.

I have been taking photos for myself and others for many years. I have already captured several projects in musicals and theaters in photographs and films. In addition, weddings, school classes, company events, employee portraits and much more. I'm looking forward to this challenging work in the Far North and lots of interesting people and their stories.

I'm a historian by training, but switched 8 years ago and now I'm doing photo and film projects. I am particularly interested in the documentary area, because here I can focus on people and immerse myself in worlds that are new to me. It is both a fascination and a challenge to let stories emerge from this and to tell them in appealing images.
